Before You Open The Eye
What counts as a "machine"?
One hardware-bound installation. When your agent or CLI activates with `flowcage activate`, it binds a machine ID to your key. Reached the limit? Unbind a machine from the account tools or admin console, or add bindings as an add-on.
Do I need the local binary at all?
No. Point any MCP client straight at https://erlangeye.io/mcp with your key: that's the whole product. The binary is optional: it adds the local harness (hooks, statusline, project init) and a stdio bridge that forwards to the cloud for clients that can't speak HTTP.
How does activation and licensing work?
Every runtime call verifies your API key against the FlowCage authority. Receipts cache for 24 hours with a 7-day offline grace window, so brief network loss never stops your agents. Headless/CI environments use the FLOWCAGE_API_KEY environment variable.
Can we self-host the whole authority?
Yes, that's the Sovereign tier. You get the flowcage-server authority (license verification, Cloud MCP, download vault) running in your own perimeter, with your own keys, plus a support line during rollout.
Is there a trial?
The Drone tier is free for as long as you keep an active account: no card required. It connects you to the live endpoint with real identity tools so you can wire up your client before spending a cent.
Is this a one-time purchase or a subscription?
Subscriptions only. Every tier is a rolling term (monthly or annual) tied to your API key's expiry; there is no perpetual or lifetime access. Offensive tooling evolves weekly and your subscription funds that pace. Renewals are automatic; lapsing a term simply pauses the key until you renew.
Do you offer defensive services or blue-team tooling?
No. Erlang Eye is an offensive company in the XBOW mold: we break in so you can see exactly how it happens. Findings from every FlowCage engagement hand your team the precise exploitation path, remediation is your call and your timeline. We attack; you choose what to fix first.
How does billing work?
Card or invoice, monthly or annual (2 months free on annual). Tier changes take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the next cycle. Sovereign is a custom contract.
What happens if my key leaks?
Revoke it from the account tools or admin console: instant, all machines cut off. Machines re-bind automatically when agents re-activate with the replacement key. Keys are stored hashed; we can never read them back to you.
